Copilot Documents Drafting

generative AI drafts HR documents, contracts, policies and letters, filled with employee data

From Documents, users create HR documents with Copilot, either from a list of set topics (such as offer of employment, return to work, salary increase, successful probation) or from their own short prompt. Sage gives examples including employment contracts, policies, warning and dismissal letters and performance improvement plans. Copilot can fill in employee and company data such as name, position, manager, start and termination dates, salary and time off status, and can produce documents for many employees at once. The draft can be edited, regenerated in a different tone, length or language, then shared with chosen employees as a PDF. Sage says it is available only to UK Sage HR companies using the Sage Payroll UK integration, and advises reviewing AI-generated content.

Sage AI Assistant

AI support chat inside Sage HR for admins and employees

Opened from the speech bubble in Sage HR or the help centre. For admins, the AI answers support questions first and hands over to a Sage support agent when needed. Employees signed in to Sage HR get the virtual assistant only and are told to contact their employer if it does not solve the issue. The help centre also points users to it for tasks such as refreshing a document that will not download.
