a chat-based AI agent that drafts and edits whole videos
A chat-based AI agent inside Synthesia that turns a prompt and attached files (PDFs, slides, documents, links) into a first draft of a video, then rewrites scripts, changes visuals and generates images when asked. It acts inside the video itself rather than only making suggestions. It is set to replace the older AI Video Assistant eventually; the older one is still available.

an AI agent that builds a whole video from a description, with a live preview
The user describes the video they want and an AI agent builds it, showing a live preview as it works; files, links, slides and images can be added, and changes are asked for in chat or marked on the preview. It can use the user’s own Personal Avatar when asked. On Enterprise a full licence is needed.

AI video clips, images and avatar B-roll generated from a prompt, also in the AI Playground
Generates short video clips and images from a text prompt inside a video project, using models such as Veo 3.1, Gemini Omni, FLUX.2, Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2; an avatar or space from the scene can be used as a reference, and the script can write the prompt. Generated assets are kept at user level and can be added to any video. It is an add-on on all plans.

Generates animated graphics, such as timelines, funnels, checklists and charts, from a scene’s script, a written prompt or a reference image, either from a template or one the AI picks. The graphics sit in the video like any other element and their text can be edited without generating again.

Creates a realistic AI avatar that looks and sounds like a real person from a short recording made on a phone or webcam, and clones that person’s voice automatically at the same time; a professional studio version is also offered. The person records a consent video before the avatar is made. Videos can then be made in that person’s likeness in 140+ languages by typing text.

AI Dubbing
re-voices an uploaded video in other languages, cloning each speaker’s voice
Translates the spoken audio of an uploaded video or YouTube link into other languages and re-voices it, building a voice clone for each speaker it identifies; lip movements can be synced to the new audio. On-screen text is not translated. Speaker voices can be swapped for a stock voice or another clone.

A browser extension that records the screen, a window or a tab into a new scene; when the microphone is used, what the person says while recording is transcribed into the scene’s script. Recordings can then be trimmed and edited in the video.

Staff practise real conversations, such as sales calls or giving feedback, with an AI avatar that plays a customer, manager or colleague, and then an AI coach scores their performance on each skill and gives feedback with a transcript.
