Photo Avatar
a talking avatar animated from a single photo, uploaded or designed with AI
Animates a still image of a person or character into an avatar that speaks your script. HeyGen: “Photo Avatars are created from a still image, and HeyGen’s AI brings that image to life by generating facial expressions, head movement, and gestures.” The image can be a photo you upload, or HeyGen can design the avatar with AI from a written prompt.

Voices
AI speech for your videos: library voices, voices designed from a description, and instant voice clones
Reads your script aloud in an AI voice: one from HeyGen’s voice library, a new voice HeyGen generates from a written description, or a clone of a voice made with Instant Voice Cloning. Professional Voice Clone
a high-fidelity copy of a voice, trained on 20+ minutes of recordings
Trains HeyGen’s most accurate copy of a voice, which then speaks any script in your videos. HeyGen: “Instead of a short sample, it learns your voice from 20+ minutes of your own recordings, so it captures your tone, your accent and the way you naturally speak.” HeyGen says this flow is upload only, with no in-app recording and no consent step.

Video Agent
an AI agent that writes, assembles and voices a whole video from a prompt
Builds a complete video from an idea or a script: it writes the script, picks or generates images and video clips, adds an avatar with an AI voiceover, edits the scenes and adds subtitles. In Chat Mode you review and refine its video plan before anything is generated; in Autopilot Mode it researches, builds the plan and starts generating with minimal interaction. An Incognito Mode keeps a session out of your personalization profile and future suggestions.

Video Translation
translates the speech in a video and re-voices it in the speaker’s own voice
Translates the speech in an uploaded video into up to 10 languages and re-voices it in the original speaker’s voice, with optional lip sync and translated captions. A proofread step lets a person review and edit the translated script before the final video is made.

Makes a short podcast-style video in which two avatars hold a conversation.
