AI Matching
Sovren AI scores and ranks candidates’ CVs against a vacancy
From a vacancy, Search with AI reads the job description and key responsibilities, searches the CVs held in Sage People and gives each candidate scores in categories such as skills, education, job titles, employers, languages and experience, listing the highest overall score first. Recruiters can change how much each category counts, and results stay anonymous until a candidate is added to the vacancy’s longlist. Sage says it is off by default and, once switched on for the organisation, cannot be switched off; when it is set up, CVs added in the last 18 months are processed for matching. It runs on the Sovren AI Matching engine.

HR Assistant
Agentforce chat that answers HR questions about team members from your policy documents and, if switched on, from their HR records
HR managers open it from the Agentforce icon in the HR Portal and ask questions on behalf of team members (Sage says it is not currently available to employees in WX); it answers from the policy and process documents the company loads into its libraries. If an administrator turns on data grounding, it can also use team member records such as employment, salary, bonus, dependants, emergency contacts, passports and visas, limited to the fields the administrator adds and to what the user is already allowed to see. Sage says the data-grounding setting is unticked in the default installation, so by default it answers from the documents only. Sage offers it through its Sage People with AI early adopter programme.

Draft Objectives with AI
Performance Coach suggests and rewrites objectives for team members and managers
When a team member or manager creates an objective, a Draft Objective with AI button suggests three development or operational objectives and the tasks for them, with a short explanation of each suggestion for operational objectives. It always uses the person's job title, whether they are a manager and how many direct reports they have, and, for operational objectives, 1:1 notes and company objectives; the user can add their previous performance review, past objectives, job description, feedback and the manager's shared objectives. The user can edit, rewrite with AI, accept or ignore the suggestions, and the usual review and approval of the objective stays in place. Sage offers it through its Sage People with AI early adopter programme.

Performance Review AI summaries
Performance Coach writes AI summaries of completed performance reviews
A scheduled process writes an AI summary of each completed performance review and stores it on the review record, where HR can report on it; a policy setting decides whether the team member and their manager see it in WX. Sage says hiding the summary in WX does not stop it being generated — that is controlled by the scheduled process. Sage offers it through its Sage People with AI early adopter programme.
